Hello Anne,

Great news that you may return to work...

Like you said though take gradual steps...it will do you a power of good to be back with your colleagues and friends.

Wishing you all the very best for your continued recovery....these poisons they pump into us takes months and months to clear our systems...So be kind to yourself.

I too endorse the washing of the hands and drinking loads of water and if you can, excercise will increase your energy. It did wonders for me and now I am thriving.

Kind Regards
Leigh

Good for you Anne. Just don't overdo and to echo Stephany wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands. You are really susceptable to germs right now.

So i work for free and try not to be too much of a vegetable!! Maybe i'll go to work at Starbucks since i spend so much money there anyway:silly:

Betsy Mae,
I couldn't wait to get back to work the last time and it really helped me to not dwell on things and to get out and talk to people and have experiences outside the house. I have another week and a half to go (fingers crossed) before I go back again, and I can't wait.
Best of luck to you - and remember - take it easy at first!(and let your co-workers buy you lunch)

Best of luck with going back to work. I worked from home while recovering from my Cystectomy and was glad to do so. It kept my brain engaged and avoided too much stressing about my recovery.
Actually, I was in the hospital last week for a kidney infection and my doctor encouraged me to work from there. The hospital has Wi-Fi connectivity so between the laptop and my cellphone, I was able to work 5-6 hrs per day.

For me, I prefer to be working over watching daytime TV or just being a vegetable.
