Sorry I have been off the net for a while. Lot's of family stuff going on. My blood levels are slowly coming back up as of yesterday my RBC was 9 and my platellets were back up to normal.

Energy is slowly coming back up. I do one thing a day and my family all voted that it be the cooking. They have really missed my cooking.

Gracie,

Glad to hear you are done to. Hope the residual affects wear off soon for you to. I had to get shots for my WBC's the whole time to. Crazy isn't it. Glad this roller coaster ride is almost over.

Hi Webs,

I'm so glad to hear you are done with the chemo! Congratulations - its been a really tough road for you. Sorry to hear about the RBC issues. I agree - we have to be our own advocates - so make sure that they keep a close eye on your counts.

I had more issues with the WBC's. Had a shot of the neulasta (sp?) and my counts went too high. They were within range just before my last infusion and they wanted to give me another shot. I chose not to do so since I didn't need to prepare for another treatment. Will see how it all sits next week.

I am so glad the treatments are over. I am still also dealing with the residual effects but anxious to put it all behind me.

I hope that you see a strong turn around soon but make noise if you don't!

Take care of yourself.

Best,
Gracie

Ouch Charlotte...i wonder if the coumadin is causing this? Are you getting your levels checked every week? Here's a paper from Mayo

I'd ask your doctor some hard questions on this........Pat
