Happy New Year! As soon as the new year rolls in, I begin to work on taxes.
I just wanted to remind everyone to be sure to collect all your medical costs....I think we can even list mileage to and from the medical appts. which for most of us in the category of "aggressive" that can be alot of mileage. Although most of my medical costs were covered, I found I still had lots of co-pays that added up to a sizeable amount. And my insurance doesn't cover the stoma dressings I now use and that is costing me over $100 a month...have submited a letter to the insurance co. with a supporting letter from my doctor but haven't heard back from them. Anyway, it's worth a try to submit any and all costs since BC is like one of or the most expensive cancers to have. And who of us doesn't need some kind of tax break.
