Thanks for the update. I understand the cardio/uro fight. The heart has to be healthy to handle most anesthesia procedures. I remember we have had maybe 3 over the past several years that have had this happen after being clear 10+ years. Hoping that they figure it out and you can continue the fight!
DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

Yes it was my yearly Cystoscopy. After quitting smoking and diet change I had quit worrying about it years ago. Can't seam to catch a break just had a chronic total occlusion of my heart fixed last December. Now my Cardiologist and Urologist seem to be dukeing it out in a boxing match over the best course of action, kinda leaving me in the dark.

As Sara Anne said, please share what revealed the recurrence? Was it a yearly scope, or other symptoms? Sorry it has come back! I trust you will beat this back again. We all learn from each other.

ouch So sorry to hear that . As someone who is 11 years out and counting it is scary to know that yours came back . It would be helpful if you would share the details with us .

Yes there has been a shortage of BCG that is supposed to be over about now . Hope that if you need it you’re able to get it

Not looking forward to my poor penis being tortured again. Have TURB scheduled. Assumed I'd have another 6 week round of BCG but come to find out there is a shortage. All the old emotions that I thought I had put behind are roaring back.
