Thank you so much for the positive comments. I will certainly have more questions in future weeks.

Cookie,

Welcome. As we usually say were are simply sorry for the reason to be here. You have already taken some baby steps to beat this! One day at a time is one of my favorite lines as it puts some of this into perspective.
I believe you have also come to grips with the surgery. While it is no fun it should be a cure or riddance of the disease. There are many that have been on this board and now leading productive lives beating this.

So, it sounds like you have a plan. Just be sure your surgeon does a minimum or 25-35 or more a year of this.
I am sure more will chime in and feel free to post questions as needed, or rants, or good news. WE try to listen. This is beatable and treatable!

I am really nervous about having my bladder removed. That seems to be my only option as the cancer is very invasive and in the muscle. The cancer has also spread to my uretha. I am waiting to hear from a specialist in performing this kind of surgery. I know I need to take one day at a time, but it is really difficult.
