“Blue Light “ is just one technique that can be used. There are studies that say that it may be somewhat better in visualizing some bladder conditions and some that show no difference between it and white light cystoscopy. One thing for sure...the company that holds the patent and is manufacturing the apparatus and selling it for a BIG price is doing a lot of advertising. I would be looking for doctors with lots of expertise in diagnosing and treating bladder cancer. That is what is important. Whether or not they have blue light wouldn’t be a factor in my decision.
