Low grade, non invasive papillary urothelial carcinoma. Report said there was no evidence of lamina propria invasions. It was called pTa. No chemo needed. Check ups every 3 months for a year and then, if ok, check ups every six months.
I have heard that this type of cancer returns. Has anyone here had that happen?
BTW,
Thank you to all who prayed and to those who have been so supportive. I believe it was the Hand of God that allowed me to have my surgery so rapidly. I was given a date that was less than a week after my cytoscopy. The doctor is actually book for 2-3 months. I was placed on the ASAP list by doctor, and someone developed pneumonia. I had all of my tests done previously, and at the last minute I was provided with a ride and a dog helper. I praise God for the swift surgery appointment, the pathology report.
