Bobbysgirl,

Welcome but, we are sorry the reason the be here. I can't sugar coat the answer. When a tumor has invaded the bladder wall, the safest and "gold standard" s a cystectomy. As you are at UNC and Duke, which I understand have fine bladder cancer reputations they may have some variable or final trick they are working.

This is your life in your hands and it is beatable. I am sure there will others that will chime in. I am bookmarking the 3 main diversions to help you along this path. While I have nood had to go that route is is ALWAYS in the back of most or our minds.

See: my.clevelandclinic.org/health/treatments/12546-urinary-reconstruction--diversion

DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

Had blood in urine which led to the sudden discovery of (2) tumors inside the bladder. The tumors were removed 6/2/18, and the pathology indicated cells in the bladder wall. Nothing outside, thank you, God.
Consults scheduled with UNC, mid-July, and Duke, mid-July, (These are in North Carolina.)
Have been following plant-based Gerson Diet, and using what alternative therapies available at home until then. H2O2 drops, C-60, Frankincense essential oil.

Really hoping for multiple choices at these institutions, I only see bladder removal on just about every post! Has anyone any experience with these facilities, and has anyone opted for another treatment that did not remove their bladder?

Please share, thanks.
