No blood, not uncomfortable. I knew my urine had been (is) cloudy. No fever, etc.

My urine culture came back negative, so I am not sure what we saw on scope? He thought
it might be inflammation from the infection. Waiting for response.

At least I can come off of the nasty antibiotics. Big pleasure in small things, lol.

Thank you for responding.

Not normal. However, about 1 year into my scope schedule, we stirred up a really nasty, unusual UTI to where they had to culture it. It then happened the following scope also So, for the last several years (as I am on yearly) my URO as a preventive move gives me a short regimen of an antibiotic.

DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

In going in for my last 2 scopes, my urine has been positive (dip stick) for UTI. Clean catch sent to Lab for culture. I've been put on antibiotics ~ first Bactrim and now Levaquin. Are recurrent urinary tract infection normal for those who have had cancer? I think I have only had one other bladder infection in my whole life.
Thank you!
