Waiting for a TURB and all the uncertainty is certainly nerve-racking! We have all been there and done that.
The amount of blood you are seeing is probably not an indication of the severity of the tumor; many bladder tumors are like little mushrooms sprouting from the lining of the bladder. If one sort of "breaks off" it can cause bleeding and this is probably what you are seeing. However, it wouldn't hurt to call and mention this new development to the urologist or his nurse (I often find the nurse easier to get hold of!) This would probably ease your mind a bit.
