I was kept complete dark on what the Surgery was about , went to the hospital and the doctor said he was not sure if that is stone or something else. After anesthesia, woke up and did not meet him,

He talked with my wife and said it is success and she asked if he was able to remove the stone. Answer was it is in Tissue and in rectum don't worry , something in that line , all people will have it . My wife was more confused and after that I was not able to get in touch with him

I was lot of pain to pee , and I assume he might have done cystoscopy. I was not asked to empty my bladder , so I have no idea what is done. Came back home, resting today as the pain is very gradually reducing .

After 2 weeks of waiting , and multiple ctscans ( contrast /non contrast) and cystoscopy , I am at loss of what is happening. Lot of money is spent , around 3 thousand , some I may get back from insurance.
I will try to go back to the doctors office and try to get some answers. Just wondering , what needs to be asked.

Very disappointed after working 20 years , have insurance and as a developed country and supposed to best in world.

Worrying is not the solution, it take longer for people to get full diagnostics. I wish you luck for the surgery and appointment.

Got my CT Scan results , had prostatomegaly with mild urinary bladder wall thickening possibly related to chronic bladder outlet obstruction
No evidence of UT calculus aside from a 2.8 cm avoid penile calcification
and some thing that is not expected Hepatic Steatois , may be time to not drink

Hopefully this will clear things up and having a surgery tomorrow , as nothing was told by the doc team on what this means, I guess all is well

Thank you, it may just help others , to not to take it granted the other symptoms as I never saw blood this late

Due to job tensions never took health seriously, no proper physical follow up also

Take a big breath, all you know is that that something is going on and you need to get to the bottom of it. It took over two years for me to be diagnosed and that was over ten years ago and I am still here. Get answers and if you need us we will be here for you every step of the way. And yes the messege is if you see red see your doctor and get to the bottom of it.

Hello all,

I am 46 male , recently had gross hamaturia, and primary physician ruled out other causes

I had bladder issues and back pain from couple of years and doctors thought it is uti or kidneys, never had blood, my bad luck and I thought it is prosate and ignoreed
Now I am in sever pain , dysuria and flank pain , my CT scan is tomorrow, and cystoscopy is 31 , posting here it will be helpful to some one else who will not ignore the symptoms if there is no blood visible in early stages,.l and also if there is any remote hope. I believe it is 4 stage , very painful back at night ,light head , severe head ache few days back. I fear the worst , as I had a little kid to take care of , I have diabetes and not eligible for trails , I do understand it only form and not doctors, my doctor did not care, he gave cystoscopy 3 weeks after first appointment coming 31

Looking if there is any hope , flank pain and nocturnal dysuria , diabetic , I guess it took 2 years may be after first symptoms
