Dec. 23,2016 I was diagnosed with BC... I went thru the first surgery to remove the tumor, and then six weeks later went back to double check, and cut out a larger area around the original. Six weeks later after healing I started the BCG treatments. After successfully completing the BCG and waiting for some time to pass, I was back in the hospital this morning to check the progress of all the doctors work. She started on me at 07:30, and by 12:30 I was back home!! She found no additional evidence of any cancer, and did a "resection" of the "high neck" and she also cleaned and opened up the urine flow path. To say that I am thankful, well I 'm sure anyone who has ever been diagnosed with cancer knows what I am feeling. Praise God for His Grace and Mercy... and thank everyone who stood with me and for their prayers, and thank this forum and website and ALL of you that helped me through all of this. You guys and gals helped me stay positive and also answered my questions.... Truly, Honestly, Thankfully.......
THANK YOU!!!

I just experienced my initial post BCG exam, and everything came back clean. My URO took 6 biopsies, and all were negative. Needless to say this is good news, but I am aware that this cancer can recur, but until my next check in 3 months I am going to live my life, and thank God for every day. I want to let everyone in this forum know how appreciative I am for all the advice, and encouragement I have received. I can only pray that those of you who are going through your journey will receive positive results.

I think of it as business days. If this was done on a Friday you would have just 5 days M-F with 4 weekend days. Or, the URO might be on vacation. Yes, 10 is probably a little long but, either of the two above could be part of it.

Waiting is no fun.

But is it normal to wait 10 days for results? Pathology should turn around in 4 - 5 days. As the patient you want to know the results, and next step.

It will take a few days for the path report to come back. He won't be able to tell you anything for sure until then.

We will keep our fingers crossed for you!
