Sippi,

Original Medicare has covered all my BC expenses, except for the usual items, just as Sara Anne said.
Once the yearly deductible is met, On a $900 bill for a outpatient BCG treatment, medicare allows the doc to bill me $50. (round numbers).

The usual cautions are advised if you have a secondary insurer - make sure ALL your docs are "in plan".

Best

I cannot speak for anything but my own experience, but Medicare has paid for every bit of my bladder cancer treatments...cystocopies, CT-urograms, TURBs, and BCG treatments. Less the deductibles, of course, which were covered by supplemental coverage.

Newly diagnosed, no decision to take the treatment. As yet. Does Medicare cover this procedure?

Thanks for your help! It will help us in our discussion with the oncologist/ urologist.
