Sorry you are having to go through this. I know how frightening and frustrating it can be.

That is a great question about the scope not being filmed. Perhaps because it really isn't used for diagnoses? I am sorry I don't have that answer.
After much reading, I know many here send their pathology in for a second opinion, but not results of a scope. I hope someone has the answer for you.

Your TURB is scheduled for this Wednesday? Then the wait for pathology ... from there you will be able to make your plan.

Wishing you the best of luck.

Further random thought that are flashing through my mind. Why was the cystoscopy not filmed. It was on camera but not recorded. Is this normal. I would have liked to send the results to a different dr. Just for a second opinion. Perhaps I am overly skeptical. If I want a second opinion I am afraid I would have to go through another cystoscopy.

Never thought I would have cancer at 42. I had blood in the urine and was advised to have a cystoscopy. I blew it off until a goof friend was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I rescheduled the appointment and I have a superficial cell build up of about the size of my pinkie nail. I go in this next Wednesday. Half of me wants to bury my head in the sand and the other half wants to learn as much as I can. I am getting a consultation and a second opinion on Monday. If anyone who has been in my position know what to ask the Dr. I would appreciate.
