Hi Anita... Like Cynthia, I have thought of you two many times today. That is great news that it appears to be confined to the kidney. Let Doug know the forum team is cheering him on! I know it has been a long day for you as well. Hope you can rest a little bit tonight. I remember they came around about 10:30 that first night to get me up to walk and I was glad to have a good friend staying in the room with me. Take care of you, too!

Joe,
Thanks so much. That is encouraging. Doug's surgery was 1:35 till 6:35. He is in recovery. We will get to see him in about an hour (9:30). The really GOOD news on Doug is that the cancer is not outside the kidney.

Anita and Doug,

Thinking of you both... I am 4 weeks post ureterectomy/bladder cuff and am very mobile with little discomfort. I hope Doug shares the same recovery!
