Sorry but you are right about not being able to know more until the path report comes back. If it is bladder cancer you have to remember that even if low grade you are going to be seeing quite a bit of the Urologist you use. If this one did not give you the warm fuzzes this would be a good time for a second opinion. We always suggest that anyone with a new diagnosis seek a second opinion at a center of excellence that deals with a lot of bladder cancer. If you want suggestions of where you might want to go just let us know what state and I am sure you will get suggestions.

I know all of this is moving very fast and that the shock factor is high. We have all been there and know how you feel. But I can also tell you that for the vast majority of us life goes on and we learn to deal with it. The day does come for most that bladder cancer does not rules their lives.

Keep us updated and ask away if you have questions we are here.

Hello everyone...cant say happy to be here but happy to have someplace like here to go. Quick review..blood in urine 4 weeks ago. Went to ER..after 2 days and reading on line went to urologists. Week and 1/2later had ct and scope which revealed tumor. Removed 3 days later. He said he thinks he got it all and muscle tissue. Can anyone tell me what this could mean as far as staging?.i know have to wait on pathology but figure staging could maybe be kind of guessed at. .it was a papillary tumor..urologists has not been very informative or willing to share much on his own. As a matter of fact after shoving scope up when found tumor he was literally out the door in no more than two minutes. I was in a blur and could not believe it with wife crying next to me.. Anyways can anyone shine any light?
