I'm a 60 year old police officer, during my yearly physical blood was found in my urine, I had no symptoms at all and as far as I was aware I was just fine. My primary doctor called me after a few weeks on Sunday, 5-31-15 and told me that transitional carcinoma cells were identified in my urine sample, she told me that she had scheduled me for an abdominal CT scan to be followed by a urology specialist. My doctor was very clear, I have cancer. My last physical was ok, no blood in my urine.
What can I expect? My CT Scan is on Monday.
