It was so bad time for me while I was awaiting pathology results. I was searching all over the internet about bladder cancer. I have read all forums and scientific literature about it. Actually it made me more sick when I have found out that benign lesions are very rare. :S.

I was shaking when I got paper with results.

But at the end it turned out that I was lucky one! I hope that pathologist didn't make some mistake.

Well, that was a bit of good luck, since it wasn't bladder cancer!! BUT you do need to be scrupulous about your checkups since statistically you are more likely to get bladder cancer and need to be checked often.

It does take a while to heal from the surgery for some people.

Good luck to you

Hello, im 38

In February I was diagnosed with BT. It was found on preventive ultrasound. I didnt have any symptoms. It was about 1.2 cm.
After that I had TURBT in 14 days. Of course i was totally down because of my diagnosis. I was treated with mitomycin. One dose after surgery.
Cytology showed that tumor was actually inverted papilloma. It was relief for me.
Im still bit worrying, because i still have some discomfort / occasional pain on area of surgery in my bladder. Im urinating without any problem.

I have an apointment at the doctor in Sptember :S

Should I be worrying??
