While I am no doctor, it sounds like you have a good URO. I like his thought of a follow up but, it does sound correct that a stone is causing your problems-they can nick ureter walls, kidneys etc causing hematuria (bleeding). The CT scan tells a lot and the cystoscope gives a good read into the bladder. While the stone is a high probable cause, I do know a few people, including my wife that has bled through their urinary tract for some time with no known cause (although a stone was suspected).

DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

I seen blood in my urine about 4 weeks ago. Went to a urologist and he confirmed that there is blood in my urine. He scheduled more blood work and a CAT scan. The scan showed 1 small stone in my kidney, so he performed a cystoscope. He said he saw no tumors, but he could see the blood in my bladder. He has put me on low dose antibiotics and scheduled another appointment in 1 month to do a PSA, and check if there is still blood in my urine.

What other reasons would I have blood in my bladder.
