Dr Lamm? That is who wrote up the protocol they are using for my care. Where is he from?

Bert

That means it is working. The whole point is to trigger an immune response. BCG is highly effective. Compare it to what you know of traditional chemotherapy. It beats the heck out of having to go through that. Good luck with future doses. Talk to your doc about the strength of your dose. According to Dr. Lamm even 10% dose strength has not been shown to reduce efficacy.

All the best!

Thanks for the update.

I hope the next one goes better for you. Maybe one of the others has some advice to help with the sick feeling.

well i'm on week 2. first treatment was very uneventful, thank god. had the second treatment yesterday. My treatments are at 3pm, so I don't miss work that day. I felt good till 8 am this mourning, eat a banana, to try to help my stomach, no help. Mild flu symtoms hit quickly. With in an hour I had to leave work. Felt like total crap, slept a little and felt better. 650 mg tylonal helps (recommended by doctor). I really hope this is worth how i can see me feeling after weeek 6.
Thank y'all for all the support

Great to hear things are going well.

I hope the side affects are minimal from the BCG. Please let us know how you are doing during the treatments. We will try to help out as much as we can.
