Howdy all, went in for my first Cysto after BCG. They put me out because of the whole "I'm a sissy" thing and so they could take some biopsies. Every thing went fine and I should find out next week what the results are.

I asked the doctor about his BCG supply and he said he has plenty, hopefully that will still be the case in four weeks when I start my 2nd round. I don't remember what kind of BCG he is using, if it is the Canadian kind that shut down or if it is the Trice stuff from Merck.

All right best of luck to everyone...I'm going back to fishing until it's BCG time. :)

I have two decks overlooking the Willamette River in Portland. Salmon season has been going for a while here. Been too rainy for much luck, but I did see a nice big one being carried through the parking lot next to my place!!

Good Luck, Warren!

Warren,

You mean to tell me I can,t use my ultra-light Fenwick, or my flyrod? Oh-well, maybe I,ll have to barrow some gear. I,ll be real quiet and stay out of the way, I don't eat much but I do need to pee often. :P

On the positive side I have gained 20lbs since I quit smoking so I probably won,t need to tie myself in if I get one on.

Catherine, for 20 years I use to use a net for salmon up in Alaska but for the last ten years I have called my self a "retired" fisherman, usally only going out once a week. Salmon is different, it's from May 1st till October 15th with only three weeks off.

Mark, you would need allot of poles :) I run up to six lines with up to 20 spreads (lures) on each, 60lb cannon balls on the ends...it is still as fun as sport fishing, heck more because I don't have a limit on how many King salmon I can bring in!!! If I had to I would pay them to let me do it instead of the other way around :)

This winter when I was first dealing with the BC the idea of not getting to go fishing this summer and fall was a huge worry and bummer for me. It truely was a huge weight off me when my second pathology report came back all clear. I don't want to be sick, but I CAN'T be sick during salmon seasone.

Hello Warren... sounds like you have a good handle on your treatment plan. And, not having to worry about something being painful takes a lot of the stress away. Very happy they are working with you like that!

And, Mark... A pole? Sounds like you better grab a net, and a really big one at that!

Happy fishing guys!

Best wishes... Catherine
