I think 10 days is fine to start the BCG, not too soon, unless there has been continued bleeding to indicate the area of the TUR is not fully healed. I'm almost done with a full course of BCG treatments (close to 3 years); my urologist has me wait 1-2 weeks after even a cystoscopy before doing the BCG, just to be on the safe side.

Best of luck to your father.

I come back with some news.
My father had a second Tur last Wednesday and the result confirms CIS non infiltrating. He has been told he will start BCG next Monday (so after 10 days from the operation): is not too early?
Thank you for your suggestions.

Thank you Pat. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Unfortunately San Raffaele at the moment is not the hospital where to go as it could be closed from one day to another.
Patrizio Rigatti is working only there.
