Horace,

I see. You give me links to testimonials from sites that sell the stuff....

How about reading this one: The Rise and Fall of Laetrile

Basically, it is a modern day snake oil. It is not a vitamin. There is no such thing as "Vitamin B17". It's proponents invented the vitamin label to get around FDA regulations in order to get rich selling it.

Be sure to follow the links from the site above to read more information.

Here is more: Laetrile Spammers

Online Laetrile Vendor Ordered to Shut Down

New England Journal of Medicine: A clinical trial of Amygdalin(Laetrile)

FDA: The Commissioner's Decision

Drugs and Poisons: Amygdalin (Laetrile) Patient Information

Laetrile/Amygdalin (PDQ®): Complementary and alternative medicine - Health Professional Information

American Cancer Society: Laetrile

Livestrong: Laetrile for Cancer

You seem to have already made your mind up, regardless of the facts, so you go right ahead with your so called treatment Horace.

I post these links so other bladder cancer patients don't get sucked in to this snake oil. I have little tolerance for those who attempt to get rich by feeding on the desperation of people diagnosed with cancer (or any other potentially terminal illness).

Nice to see someone have a chortle in this forum. :)

But then again maybe his magic seeds saved him and reversed the metastatic cancer that he got while taking them. And maybe he planted some of those magic seeds and grew a beanstalk so he forgot to post any updates about the miracle cure. After slaying the giant he won the UK lottery without even entering and then a Nigerian gave him $15 million dollars just for cashing a check. Yeah...maybe that's why he stopped posting.
