Hi, My name is Annalee and I am 35 years old with 3 beautiful children (11, almost 3 and 5 months). I was diagnosed with urachal adenocarcinoma on Dec 30th and just went for my 2nd opinion last week. I am now more confused than ever. My cancer has invaded the muscle wall but no surrounding tissue or organs yet. The doctor says because of my weight he wants to do a partial cystectomy using a piece of my colon to repair the dome of my bladder. I have never heard of this being done. I heard of neobladders, or partial cysectomy where they just sew your bladder back up but never the 2 combined and can't find information or anyone else that has had this procedure done. time is not on my side and just wondering if anyone had any insight...I am so scared and confused right now. Thanks for listening.
