We'll fly in in the morning and fly home in the evening, the drive to the airport takes longer than the flight.

I guess then it's more waiting...

You know what really gets me? Goerge has complained to at least 3 different doctors about increasingly frequent and hard to control urination for some 15 years.

If any one of those three had seen their way to have him scanned we wouldn't be in such a mess today.

The prevailing attitude seems to be that something else will kill a man over 50 before bladder or prostate cancer will.

Well, people live a lot longer today. George is in perfect health - except for cancer that covers all of the bladder, the prostate and part of the urethra.

What kind of attitude is that? I would have happily paid cash for any scans anyone thought might be important.

I guess I am in an anger phase here, but darnit, this could have been prevented.

We're seeing Dr. Amling.

Ah, didn't know that. It helps his pain anyway. He can't take aspirin because he still has spotty bleeding, the doc says it's scabs coming off...

Whom will you be seeing in Portland?

BTW, is he really taking Tylenol for inflammation? Tylenol
has no anti-inflammatory properties what so ever. OK for pain, but not for inflammation.

Good luck

Ok, we have an appointment in Portland on the 8th.

George's pain is better now, but not gone. He's taking tylenol for the inflammation.

He is also taking the sulfa - and has no appetite again but also no nausea. He will eat various soups and drink Ensure, so I am keeping him nourished and strong.

Now to wait for the 8th.....
