Julie,

I receive emails telling me that people are leaving this site as they feel they are being pushed to hard to get a second opinion. That we are too serious and it is no fun here that we should lighten up. And I tell them that the reason people push them is because of cases like yours.

I do have an Indiana and Dr. G did a great job for me. If you would like to give me a call I will be in my office most of the day on Monday the number is under the contact us button in the main menu.

The is a point for most of us that we go from terror to fight mode. That does not mean you will not have moments of intense worry and anxiety you will, but you now have a direction and there is nothing like knowing who the enemy is to give you focus.

I will stop here as I am sure others will give you a lot of advice. And remember when you get through all of this it will be your job to tell your story to the new guy on the block so they understand why a second opinion is so important. I am sorry you have to be here but I am happy you are now a part of our community.

I just spent all day at university of chicago hosp.
Met Dr. Gary Steinberg for second opinion ( I owe this thanks to Patricia(XXOXO) you very well saved my life today !!!) He thinks I may have been understaged instead of a T1/G3 it could be a T3/G3. THIS IS WHY ALL ON HERE STRESS 2nd OPINION AT MAJOR CANCER CENTER!!!! He advised an R/C I will not be a candidate for a neo bladder because he feels the urethra is effected already I will be recieving and Indiana pouch. I dont know much about them but will research. Dr steinberg mentioned that Cynthia has had the same procedure done by Dr steinberg. I hear she is renewing her vows and this gives me JOY and HOPE. Please Cynthia if you could let me know how it worked out for you at Unv of Chicago (and any tips I would be very grateful! I am calm for the moment and wonder if terror will set in soon? I continue on this journey and now I am in fighting mode!!!! Thank you for all here who keep my informed and alive and empowered I send you each love
