Lena,
If you are afraid to ask about the results of the tests how can we help you understand what they mean?
At this point, it could be nothing and it could be something. He's checking. Of course the CT could show something. Otherwise, what would be the point of doing the test? What biopsy are they planning to do if they haven't found anything so far?
You say you are still freaking out and it is starting to sound like you are freaking out more than those of us who actually have (or had) bladder cancer freaked out. Don't get me wrong. Many of us freaked out pretty darn, but you appear even beyond that. You might want to call you doctor and let him/her know what is going on and ask if there is something they can give you to help with the anxiety or maybe just for bed time so you get better rest... Or maybe some of those relaxing teas or something like that.
If you are all freaked out, then how are you going to help your mom if there is anything (and at this point there still isn't anything that's been found)? I hope you are really good at hiding how freaked out you are from your mom. This is about her, don't you think? If she's got to be all worried about you, then how does that help her when she already has her own situation to worry about.
As Pat said, if you think she needs another doctor at a top bladder cancer hospital, let us know and Pat can point you in the right direction.
As she also said there a million (ok, she said about 412) other reasons that are not bladder cancer for blood to be in the urine. It might be helpful for you to make up your mind that it is probably nothing until (and IF) some test comes back and says otherwise.
