Jim,
Glad to hear your good news. I'm doing great myself.
Andy, I know what a pain that cath is, but you don't want it
out to soon then have to have it put back in, been there.
It's good to hear you're doing well.
Wishing all of you the best.

Way to go Jim!!

Looking forward to my 10 month check and hopefully getting the same news Dr. Hafez gave you yesterday. He sure is a great guy and a fantastic surgeon. Talking with Julie (his PA) yesterday made me realize how lucky I am to have found him. People come from all over the country for his expertise! Yeah, I wish I could have gotten the cath out yesterday but it would have pretty early. I go down on Mar. 29 to check it again and that will 4 weeks to the day from surgery.

Great meeting you and Linda yesterday, looking forward to a dinner in Davison in the near future.

Another milestone, I had my 10 month post op visit yesterday.
CT Scan, blood work, and chest X-ray are negative. My Doctor said,
"Keep on doing what your doing, and see you in six months."

Better yet, I met Andy, and his wife. Wonderful people!

A great day to be a cancer survivor, Jim

Rick -

Good luck tomorrow - before you know it you'll be in recovery mode. I was apprehensive too, pretty natural considering it's major surgery. At 2 weeks out now the hardest part of my recovery is sitting still all day - sounds like you'll be the same B) Keep us updated and we're all rooting for you!
