OK..got my OncotypeDX back and scored a 12...thats out of 100..which means...TA DA...NO CHEMO.......YES YES YES....I qualify for the Canadian radiation treatment of 3 weeks of radiation as compared to the 6 weeks they're now doing. Stats aren't much different. And i have to take Letrozole (which is Femara) an aromatase inhibitor for 5 years!! Hope i last 5 years!! Fewer side effects than Taxitore which i could not take anyway because i had a DVT after my cystectomy.
So i guess if i had to get breast cancer i'm glad i had a great surgeon who got all the margins and also got second pathology opinions and OncotypeDX which is soo very important to get.
I'm actually feeling like i can beat this to a pulp
