Need Feedback

lojack60 this is a decision you must make on your own. I have the Indiana Pouch and I am very pleased with it. And there are others here that have the outside bag and they are also pleased. So knowing folks here that have one or the other it is not fair for me to tell which one to get. I can tell you this the outside bag is a shorter surgery and they take a lot less intestine to do this procedure. Good Luck, Joe

I guess a little more info would help I'm a 68 year old male, like to golf, active in church, do some gardening, work part time. The cancer is muscle invasive, my doctor is at the Moffitt Cancer Clinic has perforformed many of this type of surgery. Confined to the bladder at this time.

you really must do your homework when making such a big decision..this group is great and will help anyway they can
please give all info (stage/grade/when/where) so group give better advice..but only you can make it !!

A little background would be helpful since there isn't a "one size fits all" answer--are you a man? woman? age? lifestyle? is your surgeon experienced in both procedures? your expectations? there more info you can provide the better, since there are many people here who have had one or the other procedures.

going to have radical bladder surgery, been given two options on replacement either the pouch or the outside bag? Anybody got some advice?
