Well if its into the muscle its definately in the T2 range ..could be low 1or2 or high grade 3or4 but when it invades the muscle most surgeons say..get it out of there....I hope you find a surgeon soon and a plan. I wish i knew more about the system up there...We had one canadian on here who was not given a choice of surgeons until he realized as he was in the advertising business that he had done some promotional work for one of the hospitals and used that as leverage to get the surgeon he wanted. I'll try to find him for you. Pat

Stacker sorry to hear your bad news here, but what your Doc thinks age wise is useless under these circumstances it is what it is. We had a kid here 17 who had BC unreal. Seem BC doesn't care about what age anyone is for some reason. I'm from the states don't know much about Canada but we got a few Canadians here that may show up here. As far as being a candidate you are for a Neo unless when the surgeon goes in he sees cancer cells in the uretha or a stricture of the uretha which is a narrowing of the uretha. I myself was trying to get a Neo but my surgeon saw somethings he didn't like so I got the Indiana Pouch which now I am quite satisfied with. Make sure you find the best cancer facility up there because you want a good surgeon with this type of tumor. Best Wishes, Joe

Hi Stacker,

Sorry to meet you here... and , yes, there are quite a few of us in our 40's. I think there are even a few in their 20's and 30's too - can't swear to that though. Let us know your stage and grade and what kind of treatments you're looking at - most of us have been there too. God Bless, Holly
