Pat,

I forgot one answer to one of your question. I did not have any infection, to my knowledge, prior to my surgery.

I am hoping, Pat, that because Jennifer does not have a fever that this may not be the case. Let's try not to pull the panic button, but, I really am in there with you that Jennifer should be seen ASAP.

The only thing that I have to compare this to is my own TURB's. I had very little bleeding after my TURBs (If any at all) and absolutely NONE by the second day.

Something just isn't right here. But, we don't need to frighten Jenn.

Buds,
Rosemary

What you are experiencing is NOT normal....do you know if the doctor used any mitomycin C after your TURB? Have you seen pathology reports yet since its been 2 weeks so you know a stage and grade? As i recall you had a bladder infection prior to your TURB? Was that cleared up at the time of the procedure?
Jenz i really think you need to insist on seeing the doctor immediately..tell him your symptoms.. and if he refuses (don't let the receptionest bully you or the nurses put you off)...go to the ER. I don't know what all has been done or what meds you're on but it sounds to me like you're septic....you may have had a perforation during the TURB........this is worst case scenario but really you need to be seen right away. Where are you and how can we help you find a really competent physician or hospital? Pat

Hi Jenz,

I feel so bad for how bad you are feeling. :( Is it possible to get to an ER for urine cultures or something? I can't believe it is wise to continue as u are til the 1st week of December! I had lots probs like that after my 2nd TUR. Patricia and Claire encouraged me to get help - maybe Pat has a good idea here.
God Bless, Holly

Jennifer,

YOU SHOULD NOT BE BLEEDING AND HAVING PAIN LIKE THIS 2 WEEKS AFTER YOUR TURB.

YOU'VE GOT TO GO BACK TO THE DOCTOR AND BE SEEN. THIS MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL.

IS THERE ANY WAY THAT YOU CAN GET IN TO SEE A GOOD UROLOGIST ASAP?!!!!!

I'm here again, needing some advice.I had my TURB 2 weeks ago. You can read past post under "Don't understand" to get an understanding of whats going on with me.

My question today is:
I am still bleeding 2 weeks after my TURB and it feels like I am peeing razor blades and my back hurts so bad.I have some stomach pain. Yhe stomach is not as bad as the back pain. In general my whole bottom hurts like alot of pressure. I am also having a low body temp. around 96.6. I get so cold, it is like, cold to the bone. I am normally very hot natured. I just wanted to know if anyone had any of these systoms?

My husbands brother died last week (of lung and brain cancer) I was suppose to go to the doctor for my post op Thursday and had to cancell because of the funeral
(out of town). Now, I can't get in to see my doctor for my post op, until December, I think sometime in the first week of December. I Have called and they are treating it like it is a UTI. I have been on 3 different antibiotics and still fell the same. I know it is not a UTI because while I was back home for the funeral, I went to see my old family doctor and had him do a urine test and it came back full of blood but no UTI.
