Rosemary, you quoted, "My co-worker shared this photo of a seagull that she was able to capture while riding a ferry to Bath, NC...I wonder if he is trying to tell us something?"
I think if you look a little closer, he may be singing the "Star-Spangled Banner."
Rosemary, I hope you didn't mind me adjusting your pic some, but I just couldn't pass up the opportunity. It really is a great photo. The closest I have been to a seagull is the one I have in my front yard by my porch, inviting the guest in, and carved out of wood
Gordon, I really am so anxious to see how you like your digital camera. I know that it has made my life so much easier and fun concerning photography.
Gordon, you said, "OK Alice. I lived in Denver while I completed my masters at the University of Denver. So I know the area and love it. And I really enjoyed the hummingbird picture---- But I don't think that's your place. I am from Eastern Montana so I know the beauty of the high plains. So tell us about your "place". Or, is this idea a "Western thing"!!
I hate to say it and find it sad, but I have never thought so hard about something as I have your question in my life :o Like I need to make my brain hurt anymore from thought than it already is, lol.
Gordon, I really appreciate you bringing this to my attention and I will give it a little more thought before posting
.
It really is so good to hear about your wife, Rose, and your call back on your bladder cancer. I am so Very Happy for the both of you. Please send her all of my best.
Gordon, let us know when you get back from the cabin and as you say, "Enjoy the moments while you are there."
Best wishes to all!
Alice
