Rosemary,

Great photos. Your area of the country really gets into the "holidays" doesn't it!

Also appreciate the JALAPENO CORNBREAD recipe. Jalapenos seem to be the only consistent success I have in my garden. So now I have another reason to continue growing them other than jalapeno sweet relish! Your comment re: turkey and cornbread stuffing was right on the mark. Cornbread dressing is my favorite. This year we smoked the turkey on the weber. Turned out great.

We have snow today so I guess winter has arrived. I noticed that you have leaves yet on some of the trees. Ours are long gone. :(

Best regards to all,

Gordon

Wow, Gordon,

Those are some awesome photos. You are getting really good at this.

I haven't heard from Alice in a long, long while. Perhaps she will pop back in someday and let us know how she is doing. You are not the only one to ask about her. I hope she is doing okay.

Looks like you had a lovely time over the Thanksgiving Holiday.

The photo of the cooked turkey is making me hungry for turkey and cornbread dressing all over again.

It's good to hear from you.

Buds,
Rosemary

Rosemary & Alice,

I haven't checked in for a while. This section has really grown! Has Alice been found? I seem to remember seeing a post of hers not too long ago.

Below are pictures from North Idaho Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving morning

Thanksgiving evening - full moon

One of two vistors that day

This vistor - we cooked on the weber and had for dinner!

Not a cloud in the sky all day. Colder than heck. All day. And really cold that night. Like 15 degrees. :)

Happy Holidays,

Gordon

glad you liked the post.
After I sent it I thought it might be a bit flippant. Glad no offense taken.

LOL Flamenco,

LOL LOL I tried it...I just do the "nose harp" usually....

It is an aquired taste the bagpipes I have found. I don't have albums, tapes, or CD's of bag pipes...It think you need to see them "Live" so to speak...But I Love...The Irish Tenors....The Three Tenors..., as well as Josh Groben, and any strong male voice...My husband and children think I am nuts around the house. I never met him but my grandmother was married to Herman Hinrichs better known as Will Oakland he was with the Primrose Minstrals", as well as a with the American Quartet, and others as well as a solo artist. He was 25 yrs. her senior and left her a widow in 56'. He was an original Tenor in the "Vaudeville Era". his recordings can be heard on:

www.archive.org/details/WillOakland

And I have all of his original 78's and journals...Pretty cool stuff.
