I had a colonoscopy and there were seven polyps, six of which were precancerous and one of those was rather large and almost to the point were the doctor couldn't remove it. I would have had to have some of my colon removed if that were the case. But the doctor did nip them and sent them for tests. None of them were cancerous. But because one polyp was very large and aggressive, the doctor wants me to have another colonoscopy in a year. That's not too bad.
So, in short, Cologuard may have prevented me from losing some of my colon or even developing cancer.
08/16/16 - TURBT - 1 tumor, T1HG, 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm x 1.8 cm, non-invasive papillary.
BCG treatments (15 doses total - last March, 2018). As of latest cysto, As of May 4, 2023 - cancer free!
