Bacteria - Epithelial Cells/Escherichia coli. does that mean it's UTI? I'm concerned on on my 3rd course of antibiotics,
hopefully this course will clear it. Thank you Sara Anne

Congratulations on the 9 clear years!!

BUT you have every reason to be paranoid. Have they identified the bacteria that is causing your UTI? The reason that I was diagnosed with bladder cancer is that I went to a gyn nurse practitioner for my Pap test and mentioned that I was having a lot of UTI's. She said that if you have 3 or more in a year you go to a urologist. She referred me and the rest is history....no UTI, no bacteria. After BCG no bladder cancer.

It could very well be a UTI but with your history you need to be sure. Assume you are still having annual cystoscopy?
Call the urologist and make an appointment.

Was first on this site 9 years ago when first diagnosed since then 9 years clear. I have recently been having several UTI's & am on 3rd course of antibiotics, should I ask for referral or am I being paranoid?
