Just curious what recommendations others have been given regarding follow up CT scans after Radical Cystectomy? My surgeon recommended every 6 months for 5 years and every year thereafter. After a visit to my Internist last week he said, "I wouldn't do it".......well that threw me for a second. He said thats way too much radiation. So how do they justify it? I can understand in the first year when recurrance would possibly occur........but now i'm second guessing them. What are anyone elses thoughts on this?
