Hi Amy - I don't get on the site as much as I use to but I wanted to answer your question. I only had 4 BCG treatments and it affected my joints - wrists, knees and eyes - like Rheumatoid Arthritis but I can't remember any pain in my breast - I would mention it to both OB/GYN and Urologist.Let us know how you come out. I'm not a lady but breast issues are not typically related to BCG treatment.

Here is the package insert for BCG and while a lot of items are listed in the side effects section, nothing to do with breasts is in there.

It is worth telling your urologist about and following up with the appropriate specialty doctor.

Hi Amy... I have never had BCG so can't speculate on any link to that, BUT don't assume it is related. I recommend making an appointment with your OB/gyn (or your regular doc) and have it checked out. Breast issues should be addressed quickly as a general rule of health.

Hope you are feeling OK otherwise. I've read here that BCG can knock you for a loop of varying degrees.

I have had 4 BCG treatments so far my 5th will be tomorrow. After #4 I have started experiencing severe breast pain, mostly in the nipple area. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I have no other reason this may be happening. I had a hysterectomy in 2001 and no longer have symptoms of menstruation. I am guessing this has to be related.
