Hi Annie... Funny I was thinking about you just this morning and hoping you were doing well. You gave me a chuckle with your title... I haven't thought of that song for years, but it was a good one.

Glad you have the first procedure behind you so that the next one won't be so fear inducing, although never something we really look forward to.

The second TURBT will verify the first diagnosis and then you can get that BCG started to kick some BC butt! Hope your second surgery goes well and check in from time to time.

Catherine

Best wishes... Catherine

Hi Folks!
I did come through the first surgery in fine form. All the fear about being cathaterized was blown out of purportion and the only real difficulty I had was being constipated from the hydrocodone. Lord, while I don't want to endure pain, I certainly would do anything to avoid being constipated! Anyway, I was cathaterized for 6 days and I was fortunate that when it was removed I pee'd right away. The thought of self-cathaterization was not a pleasant one.
I am awaiting my second surgery, oh yeah, the first pathology was: T1, N0, M0 high grade, the 2nd surgey will be end of Dec with BCG as aftercare. My urologist seems to be on top of the treatment outlook so we are proceeding as planned. I have joined another support group and kept up on my research about treatments etc. I am doing just fine. Hope all is well with you-my friends, and again it does mean a lot to have found you all.
xoxoxo
