Having Turbt in the morning

Annie,

Doug always has worn sweat pants and a loose top, just as Catherine advised. When he has had a catheter at home, he would put the bag in a pail to carry it around easier...and then if it leaks, it is safely in something.

Prayers will be with you tomorrow. Hope all goes well.

Catherine,

I'm stickin' with your advice! I wasn't sure if the guys were joshing or not. Thanks for the well wishes. I can't wait to wake up after the TURBT and still be alive. There's a new day and a new experience a calling....
Talk to you soon.

OK you guys...

Annie... I wore a comfy shirt and some loose sweats. I had a leg bag that has velcro straps to hold it around the calf and ankle. It was quite simple to use.

And, contrary to what Diesel advised (not sure how he knows that), but I did find that wearing underwear helped hold the tubing in place better and was more comfortable. Something not too tight though. That would be personal preference and you'll find what works for you.

Best wishes... Catherine
