Thank you again and good luck for all of your future tests, hard to believe for me it is 3 1/2 years since bladder removal, but I am happt with the neo, just the cath. issue, and to be honest I think any,and all, diversions have their issues, it is just the way you adapt to them that is most important.

Thank you again.

I had a partial cystectomy so my bladder is still intact which is why I can't comment on having to cath. I go for the periodic cystos so the doctor can have a look-see in there. So far so good...

I hope your surgeon has some answers for you soon.

Best wishes... Catherine

Hi,

Thank you so very much for sending a message to me.

I have not had any feed back on the subject.

I see the surgeon in Sept.for my 6 month cat scan and will ask him, but this site has been so helpfull.

Do you also have to cath in order to void??

Thanking you in advance.

I am 3 1/2 years after my neo bladder surgery and continue to return to this site for advise, and "knowing" that this site is here for me has given me valuable information.

A large majority of women with a neo have to cath in order to void and I am also one of them. You "take what life has given you and adapt".

My question: when I am on my feet for a long period of time, or do a lot of walking, just every day walking from work, I have a lot of pressure/pain in the bladder area. I believe it is because of the "dropped" bladder but does anyone have any suggestions how I can relieve this discomfort???????

I once again thank each and every one of you who can share any suggestions/info with me.
