Sangeet, I'm wishing your Aunt the very best and watching for news.

Sangeet,

Wishing the best for your Aunt on her surgery. What hospital is she in?

One important thing to note for her recovery is that she should walk. She will need help walking (someone to be with her) and maybe the first day just walking in place next to her bed. This helps the intestines to wake up after the surgery and speeds recovery. Not to overdo it but the day after she should walk a little bit. Then 3-4 times a day after that (up the hall and back).

She will feel too tired and likely not want to but please explain to her that it is very important for her healing.

Do let us know how it goes.

Our best to your Aunt Sangeet. Please keep us updated and your opinions on the hospital and urologist. We get visitors from all over the world and it would be nice to have information about the procedures in your part of the world.

Pat--
Almost everyone in the world except the U.S. writes dates with day-month-year format, so his aunt's surgery will be Dec. 7.
