The circle in our logo is known as a mobius strip, if you take a simple strip of paper and twist it and glue the ends it becomes something of wonder. You see it all of a sudden has no top and no bottom as well as no start or end. This is meant to symbolize our community where all come as equals with one thing in common and become a community that offers never ending support and hope.
The flower in the front of the mobius strip is a forget me not symbolizing that
Bladder Cancer is the forgotten cancer.
OUR COLORS
The meaning of a color is often cultural so they have many different meanings but the following colors were chosen to symbolize
bladder cancer for the following reasons.
Orange
*healing, *good health *kinship *strength *endurance *determination. Another meaning of the color orange is that for some it is the color of the SACRAL HARA CHAKRA that governs the bladder.
Blue
*protection *calm *strength *communication *truth
Purple
*healing *courage (Some say that the Purple Heart was chosen for that reason) *royalty (The king of Denmark is a
Bladder Cancer survivor and there they call it the “Royal Disease”)
